Milton Keynes Graffiti 2000
Can't believe this is all over 10 years old now. I toured Milton Keynes in 2000 and took photos of as much graffiti as I could find over the whole town and suburbs.
Milton Keynes is home of the grid road system and accompanying pedestrian subway system. This means lots of secluded walls beneath, and hidden from, the main roads.
The layout of the town into grid squares also creates territories which different writers seemed to stick within.
Some of the more impressive 'full subway' pieces were taken at an informal 'hall of fame'. This is a large number of subways allowing pedestrians to negotiate the grade separated road interchange between the A5 and A421 Grafton Street, at the corner of grid squares Granby, Beanhill and Redmoor.
